Asbury House
Asbury House is our independent living
facility for those over 55. The facility is next to our church building and is a ministry of the Asbury Church.
Asbury House is a ministry of Asbury United Methodist Church.
Asbury House is a small, comfortable place with apartments for those 55 and over. Our mission is to preserve the privacy, dignity, self-worth, and quality of life of each individual resident.
We provide a home with kitchenette and private bath and six meals a week in our kitchen. There is a laundry on the first floor, security measures in place, and a drive up entrance, Asbury House is your new home!
When you are ready for a little support, but haven't lost your independence, this is the place for you.
Apartment Types
Unit Sizes are (call for availability):
- Single Efficiency - 340 sq. ft.
- Double Efficiency - 400 sq. ft.
- Apartment Home - 580 sq. ft.
- Suite - 680 sq. ft.
Each unit includes- Private bathroom, a kitchenette with a stove top and refrigerator.
Apartment rent includes- Heat, Free WiFi internet, Mid Day Home Cooked Meals Monday thru Saturday, Free Water and Sewer, Dumpster for trash, large lower level storage closet.
Other amenities- On site laundry on main floor, Off street parking, quiet neighborhood, pleasant common area.
Pets under 20 pounds and are up to date on vaccines and vet visits are allowed at an extra charge.
Policies at Asbury House
Our policy:
· Residents will be able to perform activities of daily living.
· Adjuncts for ambulation (I. E. walkers, canes, wheelchairs) are permitted providing the resident can operate them independently.
· Residents are expected to maintain and regulate their own medication.
· A resident can make arrangements for in home care whether provided by family, health agency or paid attendant.
· The resident, in consultation with family and management, will have a meeting to discuss other arrangements when their needs exceed the structure of Asbury Retirement Home.
